Adrienne
Instead on panicking which is going to do neither your fish nor you any good take a breath and sit down and study your fish. Study it for around 30 minutes carefully watching its every movement. How long have you had the fish? How old is the fish? Is your fish still swimming & behaving normally? Is it still eating? Is it still pooping? What does the fish look like, any different apart from the pink spot? Where is the pink spot? Are you sure its not always been there but you haven't noticed it? What does it look like - is it raised like a pimple, or is it a hole, is it a blister, does it look like a burn? How big is the spot? What are the water parameters in your tank i.e. pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate? What are the other tank inhabitants? Have you added any new fish lately? If so what sort and did you quarantine them first? When did you last change your water? How much did you change? Did you add water conditioners at the water change? Have you done anything different over the last few weeks to what you normally do? Now we need a photo A clear photo taken side on and above. Without the above information it is impossible to even 'guess' what you might be looking at or talking about. I could tell you to add this and that to your tank, which not only will cost you heaps of money but may actually make your fish sick instead of better. In the meantime do a water change of about 30% on the tank if your ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels are acceptable i.e. ammonia and nitrite 0, nitrate 10 or below. If the levels are above the ones I have given you do a 50%, then gather the information I have asked for and let us know
