calculator
That looks like a polypterus senagaus to me. Definitely isn't a lung fish.
aotealotl
That looks like a polypterus senagaus to me. Definitely isn't a lung fish. it's not a Lungfish but it has a lung polypterus senegalus The fish has a pair of primitive lungs instead of a swim bladder, allowing it to periodically gulp air from the surface of the water. In the aquarium, bichirs can be observed dashing to the surface for this purpose. Provided the skin remains moist, the creature can remain out of the water for nearly indefinite periods of time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polypterus_senegalus
calculator
Just because it has a primitive lung doesn't make it a lung fish, There are only two sorts of lung fish (to my knowledge) african lungfish, and australian lung fish. wellyz
The Australian lung fish is around $1000 in Australia and you need a permit and it has to be microchiped off memory. They are protected as well I think they are on the cites list as endangered .
