Dr A
Crikey. On stock lighting? Have you wired them up?

phoenix44
15L! On stock lighting. Should be effective - not perfect, but it should do fine as its not incredibly deep. Small water change was done today - not by my doing - quake decided that a litre of water must come out. *facepalm
Insect Direct
Looks very tidy. Any more shake and you'd have no tank - that was the biggest I have felt in years.
phoenix44
Ha ha yeah, tell me about it. Forgot to say that is 4 pieces of live rock just put together. Didn't fall over today, so that's a good thing right? :slfg:

Fruju
I'd say pump that lighting up. I'm about to setup a nano cube too. Gonna be using maxspect nano 16000k 60w light.
phoenix44
I kinda want to keep it neat looking & stock for now - but if needed I'll get some more LEDs. Things are happening with the tank though - Nice bit of Cyano haha
#!CrunchBang
have you got a powerhead in there?
Morcs
I've got a nano power head on the way that I might not use? Will let ya know
phoenix44
Powerhead on the way too Pete, but let me know if it arrives before mine haha
Dr A
How do you plan to mount the powerhead? It will ruin the clean lines - unless you modify the filter compartment (and not use a filter) or drill the back. Also re: the lighting, I think the ecoxoctic strips would be your best bet, you could mount them into the hood with a bit of cunning. I went pretty deep trying to figure out how to do this with one of these tanks (as I have exactly the same). FWIW They're called "superfish waves" overseas (EU/US?), so if you search for that on various nano-reef forums you get more hits of people using them. I'd be doing this too, but alas I don't know if I'll be living in NZ in the medium term (the Australian higher wage drum beats...)
phoenix44
I planned to just put the powerhead in haha. Will do something creative with it if I can, but no real plan as of now. Thanks for the tip on superfish waves! very helpful!
