dhindry
I was sitting watching the tank today, and have noticed hundreds of tiny little white insects? in the tank. They swim around and seem to cling to the glass. They are around 1mm long. They don't seem to attach to the fish. Can Ich be seen free swimming in a tank? Or is this some type of plankton????? Any help would be appreciated. Daniel

Pies
Small cricket looking things are amphipods and copepods. All good, great at eating fish poo, provide food for fish and coral. Its a great sign that you tank has so much life. Good work, nothing to be worried about, infact exactly the oposite, excellent news.
dhindry
Well after close scrutiny it looks like they are diaptomus. Can be clearly seen under 100x magnification. Well I can stop worrying now. Thanks
