disgustipated Posted July 19, 2013 Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 used to go pig hunting with some maori mates and their dogs. no guns, just knives and dogs. was great fun. felt like a native. we got some massive boars. not interested in deer. venison is yuck. and i love red meat. smidey Posted July 19, 2013 Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 not big numbers, about a dozen of mallard and parrie this season but i just head across the road onto the farm for an hour or two at a time. got none opening day as we had a shooter near us that would shoot at birds heading our way so everything was at 1,000 feet all day. how have you done? Sucks so much Going out for a couple overnighters in a fortnight or so for hopefully a Deer. Need to restock the freezer with some vension. Hunt mostly Sika in the Kaimaniwas and Kawekas. Sometimes hunt with a video camera only. Although not so often these days with a young family. And i probably wont get out till Around the end of the year if im lucky. I play footy every weekend and we have a new baby due in a couple of weeks.
