Gangwarily
Hi all, I have a four foot tank with a cannister filter and internal Rio filter equipped. The major issue I am having is I have over a dozen juvenile Duboisi in it and each one day by day are dying. The issue looks to be Bloat, as they get a stringy white long feces that hangs from their abdomen. Has anyone experienced this first hand and what have you done to cure this. Please can you give me some advice before I lose all of them. Cheers John
camtang
What are you feeding? I have heard shelled peas can help with that. Don not hold me too that however
Godly3vil
Sounds like internal flagellates, metronidazole is about the only thing that can cure it but is extremely hard to get in NZ.
ryanjury
What are you feeding them? And I agree you need to treat with metro ASAP.
Zeusterae
Definitely Metro is your best and fastest option, good luck!!!
Adrienne
Topheus are very susceptible to bloat unless feed the right sort of cichlid food. Where are you located and how big is your tank?
F15hguy
to get metro you will need a prescription from a Vet, contact your local vet and tell them exactly what is hapening, they might need to come out and see before prescribing though.
