newaqua
Hello Everyone Just a quick question with regard to LED lights. I have a couple of 50L Blueplanet Tanks (I know, but they are basically just the glass and hood now) I am wanting to place an LED panel in the hood. The max size they can be is 400mmx200mm Any ideas? I cant find any manufactures that have them. Cheers.
aer0
how good are you with DIY type stuff? there are a bunch of good DIY kits out there that would suit being mounted in one of those hoods http://www.aquastyleonline.com/categori ... oller-Kit/

the-obstacle
The price to ship isn't that much from them. They're great if you know how to put them together (there are heaps of sites with explainations) and the lighting is brilliant.

alexyay
Could you get some strips from Stealth LED lighting? If you do get some LEDs, tell us how it turns out - I've got a BP 70L which I'd like to get some stronger lighting for.
spoon
Depends what you want them for if you wanted a planted tank or marine you want high power LEDs if its just to see your fish something cheaper would do
David R
The guys on MFK seem to rate the Beamswork units as fairly good bang-for-buck, expecially the latest third generation ones. Have a look on ebay, or I think fishstreet sell them.
