binu
i dont over feed the fish ,,just feed them blood worms n make sure no wastage happens.. also i did water change but it still there .. its kind of white colour n wen stirred it turns fine dust nd sink
amtiskaw
Blood worms aren't good as a staple food - they're not that nutritious. They are more of a treat :spop: How much ripple do you have on the surface? Try increasing it, but keep an eye on your nitrate/nitrate/ammonia. If it's an organic film, it could raise N/N/A as it decomposes in the water column.
Hamstar99
Is it a new set up? You can get a bit a film initially until you do a couple of water changes and your tank's bio system reaches an equilibrium and settles down.
binu
its not that thick ..and i m doin regular weekly water change so as to reduce ammonia and nitrate

smidey
don't panic about it, it's normal as far as i can tell. My "less aerated" tanks have it but i have never had an issue.

M@.
you could try putting your filter return just above / close to the water level, or use an airpump I find you normally get a bit of a film build up if you dont break the surface tension
