Fievels
While my tank was being baby sat for the past 18 months the light failed and is not repairable apparently. I don't have the know how to know, but the people at the pet shop in blenheim seemed to think it was not possible. Currently there is an ugly piece of perspex covering it with a light, now also broken, looking down into the tank. Does anyone have any advice on how to make a stylish looking tank lid and light? Thanks F
SamH
What type of light is apparently broken beyond repair?
myfishybuisness
Lies, this happens alot with these lights, but you can replace the lighting
Fievels
It doesn't seem to be the light itself, but more along the lines of the casing that the light fits into? Any ideas on how to get it sorted? It's a Juwel Rekord 60 by the way.

Adrienne
This is the lighthood where the light is part of the hood itself as opposed to a bulb which can be removed and replaced? The bulb attaches at one end only and the unit can not be opened to remove it?
Fievels
Will take some pics of it once I'm back home with the tank... Today is moving day for the fish!!!
