si_sphinx
 That is why you should always do a leak test on all tanks, new or old, before you bring them inside.
Caryl
Well look on the bright side - you hadn't planted it out and added fish!

reptilez
I must admit I never have leak tested my tanks, I probably should though...
Angel 2
For shore I'll pre-test the 75 gal before I fill it up.
alanmin4304
If I was in your situation I would take the whole tank apart, clean the galss and reglue it completely. RTV has a limited life and if it is leaking it is likely that the glue has deteriorated and may not be holding the tank together as it should. A properly made tank should not leak even without the fillet on the inside.
randomsam1001
I must admit I never have leak tested my tanks, I probably should though... I forgot to leak test my smaller tank and was shocked when I saw drops of water under the silicone. luckily, it was just a bit of water that had overflowed from the tank
