Godly3vil
I finally have a pair of cockatoos that paired up and laid eggs, the male I got from Joe and the female is one of a few I got from danval. I am not expecting for this spawn to be successful though as the female is really young still but fingers crossed she proves me wrong. Godly3vil
Thanks calculator, not sure what I will do with the offspring if many survive, I know I will be keeping quite a few as I am wanting to breed them to true super reds with full fin coloration. Godly3vil
Thanks Joe, he's got an awesome personality - always tries to attack me when I do maintenance or take a photo. I'm thinking he may be a tad too aggressive to put in one of my community tanks any time soon though lol, guess I'll just keep him busy breeding haha. Sunbird73
Any babies out and about yet?
Godly3vil
They ate the eggs, have now got them in a blackwater type tank and added another female to form a trio, from what I have read I should have more success this way. Sunbird73
buggar. Maybe they will get the idea next time. I didn't have much luck with a trio TBH, the original female was very nasty to the new female and I had to take the 2nd female out. Hope you have better luck! Crossing my fingers for your 2nd spawn
