F15hguy
Got one of these in a display tank at work, so far im coming up twith Rasbora sumatrana as it's ID Reason im asking is that Rasbora sumatrana (or any of its synonyms) is not actually on the allowable imports list. disgustipated
just because it's not on the list, doesn't mean it couldn't already be here...
F15hguy
exactly, there for it should be added to the list

F15hguy
can someone find the clause stating that if it has been in the country before a certain date they are considered for addition.... this fish is 7-10 years old (and stunning and playfull etc.....) Adrienne
Its a very difficult thing to do to even get that done Fishguy. You need to provide proof, as in documentation, to show that the fish has been allowed in the country before and has in fact been here. disgustipated
maybe it is just that particular type of rasbora wasn't known when they made the list? dunno. there are plenty of other rasboras on the list. these could have come in as juvis with a shipment of allowed rasboras. in either case, i hope maf isn't watching this thread... they might come take them off ya
