livebearer_breeder
Been away for four days over christmas, come home to my Julidochromis marlieri tank and have a couple little guys around a cm buzzing through the limestone, perfect little versions of their parents, adorable. I knew they were spawning but never witnessed any fry till now, really happy. Had to share with someone as my friends and family just wouldn't understand but i've wanted these fish ever since i walked into Chris downs fishroom when i was 13 years old, a decade down the track and my persistence has finally yielded at least some small cute rewards. Bad photos from my phone but - Adult Little fellah These fish originally came from tom, who has since moved to auckland. Thanks so much tom! livebearer_breeder
Wish i had a decent camera, but also the tank is low light on purpose. The iridescent blue that outlines their bodies has just got stronger as they've grown. Pretty small compared to africans i've kept previously but i really like these guys, they are so full of character. Was about two months ago that i started feeding white worms regularly, i swear to you, white worms are the key to making fish randy!
alanmin4304
Don't be racist. Black worms are better.

Just grabbed a hand full of mud from the farms dam in marton back from christmas with me and have started a black worm culture, pretty excited.
