Beets82
Hi I will need a new pump for my 6 foot sooner or later Currently have Atman mp6500 23 months old http://deepblueaquarium.co.nz//product_ ... ucts_id=91 Ben from deepblue told me that the flow would down after a couple of years which it is starting to do slightly. Otherwise I’ve been really happy with it as it is very quiet and it was cheap and only 118 watt. Maybe I will just get another one Does any on have any experience with this? Is it quite http://www.trademe.co.nz/pets-animals/f ... 803488.htm I was also thinking maybe to just use a aqua one CF2700 inline as a return from my sump, but maybe not enough flow? Any other options I don’t really want to pay more than $300 and it has to be very quite. Have to consider the watts the lower the better. Thanks in advance
Ira
If you're looking for about 4000lph a CF2400 won't get close to that even in ideal situations, and certainly not running at a meter or so head like you want. You'll probably be under 1000lph.
Godly3vil
I would just buy another of the Atman ones dude.
F15hguy
check out the aquaone stingray pumps, heaps enough flow for you and rather low power (6000LPH, 2.7M head and only 70W) or even the 7000 (7000lph, 3.3m head, 95W) ( (dont be worried about the look of them, they are a normal sized pump under the flashy cover) also easy as to get parts and silent as long as they are not vibrating against anything (same as any pump)
