Sophia
is it illegal to take a chainsaw to it? would it even survive being uprooted and replanted at that sort of maturity?
#!CrunchBang
not illegal to cut it down, very easy to do as well. As long as it's got enough of its roots it should survive
Sophia
how many square metres of soil will Liam have to dig so it survives? :spop:
#!CrunchBang
Probably 300mm radius and 500mm down
Ira
how many square metres of soil will Liam have to dig so it survives? :spop: Cubic meters would be the real question. Let's see 1 meter radius from the base is an area of 3.14159 square meters, to a depth of 1 meter so roughly 3 cubic meters of root ball weighing roughly 1800 kg. :slfg: OK, probably get away with much smaller than that.
