lmsmith
green water will do it Cool. How long until they're fully grown? And if I leave my green water sitting on the windowsill (got some corgette in there) how long will it take to become green?
lmsmith
Hmmm. So I made some green water. Except, it's purple. I thought I'd take a shortcut and used algae out of my marine tank. You think when this matures it will be safe to feed my brine shrimp, or should I start over? blueether
I think I would start over, and move it away from the smelly glade block
lmsmith
Ah, I'm not too worried about that, it's got a lid on it and its just there for the picture. So you think purple water isn't the same as green water?

lmsmith
thats a new one on me...., any way you could get a hold of a microscope???? Actually - yes. I'll have a look tonight and see what I can see. I'm not sure how I'll take photos with it, but I'll give it a go.

lmsmith
put some hatched bbs in there and you will now in a few days if they grow they also eat each other Good plan. I'm hoping mine are hatched tonight when I get home, but they will be tiny bubbas. I need to keep their water moving, right?
livingart
yes just a light motion is fine
lmsmith
Sweet. I haven't hatched brine shrimp in years. Live food is good for fishies (ok, brine shrimp maybe not so much, but at least they love chasing them)!
