karina
As the topic says want to know how many Rams and Apistogramma's I could get away with putting in a 175 litre tank. Looking at my options as want to keep some. Thanks Karina.

SamH
Breeding pairs defend territories, to keep multiple pairs you will need plenty of caves and spawning areas out of the line of sight of other pairs. Perhaps an expert can tell you exactly how many you can keep.

SamH
From what I've read, well defined territories are a must. How many territories do you think you have?
karina
At least 4 maybe 5. I have a pair of bolivians already in my 430 which I was going to move over. Would also like to put a pair/trio of blue rams and apistograma's in there. Another pair of rams would be nice if I can fit them.
F15hguy
bolivians may get to big for many of the rams/apisto's out there
Joe
Rams are more peaceful than Apistos from what I've read, and you should be able to have Apistos with them and they won't fight much, if at all. Also some other beautiful dwarf cichlids to consider are Wild Kribs (Pelvicachromis taeniatus 'Dehane', 'Moliwe' and 'Bandawouri') and Nannacara anomala.
