opticalblue
Hi Guys I have recently added Glass/Ghost Freshwater Shrimp to my tank and was thinking about adding Pearl Gouramis. Does anybody know if these fish are compatible? Or will the Gouramis eat the Shrimp?
Godly3vil
I would venture to say that yes, the pearl would eat and enjoy the shrimp. Pearls prefer being kept at a higher temp then the shrimp can handle anyway.
F15hguy
I keep my shrimp happily at around 25-26 degrees, after about 27 you have trouble. but yeah they probably be a good snack for the gourami, lucky they are free... (I hope you didn't buy them off trademe)

F15hguy
its illegal to sell a NZ native, he's just collecting them from the wild, no matter how much he claims they have bred in his tank (unless he's somehow figured out how to deal with the marine planktonic stage) plus he's charging $5-$10 for something that takes 2 seconds to net out of a creek

jessy2363
I would love to glass shrimp. I live in Wellington and have no idea where to get one from in the wild and there are none for sale on trade me anymore. I wanted to keep one as a friend for my Siamese fighter fish.
