Canister Filter blunder

Well looking at moving at the end of the month if the bank gives us the money to buy a house....

So I decided I needed to get the canister filters for the spare tanks cycling to use as holding tanks for the move, any way after hours of cleaning media and setting all 3 canisters up - find out 2 don't work, one leaks (which I went out and brought new seals for 2 of them a month ago :an!gry )

So tomorrow I'm building a sump for my biggest holding tank... yay

At least this gave me a reason to find something else to do, like clean the main tanks sump :nilly:

what type/brand canister?

my fluvals keep their seal for a very very long time, one even took 7 years before needing to change.

(wow 7 years, i feel old) lol

haha, None of my fluvals lasted long enough for the seals to wear out. :)

All 3 are Jebo 819's. I'm borrowing a filter off a mate and trying to sort something else out for the other tank. Didn't end up doing the sump as don't have the money for the heater's and return pump / plumbing for that kind of setup at the mo. Will need to look at getting that stuff later
