Jaide
I've changed the water and added some tonic salt but he's still not well. The other fish in the tank are fine.

maxximuscool
Lol. Sorry for Lol. Swimming bladder is not a disease Best cure is to let them poop out and rehabilitating with a lower level water tank. And feed him something that has a lot of fibre. He will be able to swim again if he is overfeed himself. Otherwise he'll stuck for life. I got that with some of my Siamese fighters I got about 20 to swim normally but 10 still swimming head-up tail down. I have too many Siamese anyway lol. Good luck in curing this. Caryl
Before adding meds you need to ascertain it has a swim bladder problem and not just constipated, or if it is something else. Can you give more details or do you have a pic or video?
Jaide
He was struggling to stay vertical originally but now he just lies around. :tears: He must be eating if he's survived this long but I haven't seen him eat even when I dump food on his head. I'm willing to try the high fibre diet - what do I feed him with? At the mo the fish get usually Tetramin tropical crisps or flakes, various types of frozen food and occasionally softened peas. Caryl
Has his breathing changed? Gills reddened? Gasping?
Jaide
Nope, he looks fine, except he's lying down He did try to swim up to feed before and then just floated down.
