simwiz
Hi! I found this fissidens in a creek today. Could someone explain a little bit more about it? Thanks!
blueether
could be Fissidens berteroi, an endangered native moss although there is a bit of it around Auckland. It is slow growing, although that looks to be a good sized sample

Joe
Yes it is Fissidens berteroi. Ideal for tropical tanks, but it is slow growing. CO2 would probably help a lot. From my experience it doesn't mind low light, but don't shade it too much. Medium light would probably be best. You could also try it under high lighting and see how you go.
