Hollywood fish farm mt roskill are at 36 Frost Road which is about 5-10 mins away from SH20 that comes from the airport, as well Animates mount eden which is about 5 mins away from HFF. They have a larger fish section than most animates, as well they have a planted tank that is doing well atm with CO2.

Btw, note HFF's easter hours

As for other attractions, Mount eden is great for views, as is One tree hill with its massive park

Also the Easter show is on.

Other good stuff for fish heads - Auckland Domain wintergarden for the flowers and goldfish ponds...also nice ice cream at the cafe... museum perhaps.... Kelly Tarltons ....

Other stuff - Pakuranga or Glenfield Night Markets for tasty food.... Sylvia Park or Botany are probably the biggest shopping mall areas if you like that...

Don't go to the Easter Show. Its not a real show, not a patch on the Canterbury A&P Show. Expensive to get in, rides cost heaps as does the food and no animals as such on display.

Go up Mt Eden or One Tree Hill. Cornwall Park is lovely, Kelly Tarltons, the Zoo, the beaches, Devonport, Takapuna.

Cheltenham beach has tunnels you can explore from the war. North of Auckland is Leigh with Goat Island Marine reserve. Snorkle with the fish.

+1 Easter show is a disappointment, North Head has a great view of AK as well as the war tunnels, there is a nice walk over the top and another around the base.

Cornwall Park is one of my favourite places

+1 for Leigh - hire a wetsuit and you can stay in for ages. A bit cold this time of year without one.

Leigh would be a very bad idea at the moment. Huge swell and almost no visibility... I agree it's awesome on a good day but right now.. it's BAD (quote from seafriends website)

If you like going out for dinner you could go to the revolving restaurant "orbit" in the skytower. Mains are $30-40 but that includes very good food a few loops with stunnings views while eating and access to viewing area above either before or after dinner.
