LYNDYLOO
I'm thinking about getting a couple of these sent to me from HFF :happy2: Just been doing abit of research as one does when wanting to buy a new fish :sage: Read this on a webpage: Not sure how true this is though?? Include a lot of hiding spots, at least one good spot for each fish. They like to stay hidden in holes in driftwood. The King tiger pleco is generally a peaceful fish that can be kept in community aquariums, but it can be somewhat territorial and aggressive towards members of the same species. Should I only be getting the 1 not 2 ??
jamosfish
They can be agro towards one another but with enough hiding sopts and separate feeding areas they will be fine. Personally get one and then get yourself another type of pleco aswell.
LYNDYLOO
Hmmm, yea might be a good idea I think. Thanks for your input
fishplants
I keep two L066 in a 5 footer, along with 4 Gold Nuggets. No problems there at all. If you want 2 Kings, buy them. BTW, I got my Kings from HFF too.
Joshlikesfish
My breeding pair of L066 live in a 100L. For decorations they have a small piece of wood and 2 bamboo caves. They seem to get along ok :sml2: They are brilliant fish. I personally would get a variety of pleco unless you plan on breeding long term. Adrienne
I never see my King Tiger either, nor did I when he had other plecs for tank mates. I hope yours is more sociable.

flatfish
They are an awesome pleco. One of my favourites. The generally get on fine, particularly as juveniles. However some adults can be quite nasty towards other king tigers. With two in a good sized tank you shouldn't have any problems.
