alanmin4304
V. spiralis has straight leaves and a spiraling flower stem. Yours may be this plant which is an unwanted organism. There is a worry by Maf that there could be hybrids out there. I would expect V. tortifolia to be more twisted and V. contortionist even more so. Not sure about the flowers though. I agree with Alan here, but the leaf size is smaller than what I would expect from V. spiralis. Their leaves are usually thicker.
Sophia
I have twisted val that originally came very twisty - after it had been in my tank for a little while with low light the new leaves came out almost straight. Now that I have improved the lighting I think they are coming back twisty again.
alanmin4304
I had been told that the twist related to the pH but it could be lighting as well. Better get a twist back in it before the bogey man cometh.
