maxximuscool
Here it is: It is edible to human. It can either live in soil or water. This is a herb though I used it all the time for my salad It taste spicy like mint. And smell very similar to mint as well. It will grow anywhere. I add it into my tank and it has not rot since a month ago. It end up growing roots and new branches. It is floating right now in my tank. I'm thinking of burying it in the sand It keeping my water clear and my fish loves it (not eating it) and my trumpet snails eating it's root. I know the name of the plant but is it not in English
blueether
Looks like it could be willow weed (Polygonum persicaria) or something in that family?
supasi
Persicaria odorata is my guess, also know as Vietnamese Mint. Look at the dark pattern on that large leaf.

Yes I think that is what it is you're good. Your plantfu is super strong. I bow before you. I couldn't find English name for it for a very long time. I wander if this plant can be used as an aquarium plant though? It survive in the water just fine.
Caryl
According to several sites...it grows best in tropical and subtropical zones in warm and damp conditions but will wither if temp gets too high. It is also said to reduce certain urges and the monks use it to help them stay celibate. I wonder if it has the same effect on fish? If so, better keep it out of any aquarium where you have fish you are wanting to breed I suspect it will cope submerged for some months but will eventually rot. So far it grew out of the water I have cut them short and let them grow more. But my fry is now running into problem with fin rot. Going to try add some aquarium salt to try stop the spread.
