Tim01 Posted February 9, 2012 Report Share Posted February 9, 2012 I have a question about tortoise beaks. What maintenance do other people do for their tortoise's beaks? I’ve tried occasionally filing but find this quite a fight & are worried about it hurting them. I’ve kept cuttle fish in their areas but they seem to ignore it. Tim01 Posted February 10, 2012 Author Report Share Posted February 10, 2012 Thanks for the reply living art, this is what I was wondering about whether it's something that’s done as general husbandry or something for tortoise's with actual problems, I haven’t done it for some time as they seem to graze and eat vegies without any problems, so I found myself leaning to the "if it isn’t broke don’t fix it" way of mind but thought it would be best to drop a post & see what other owners thought Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
