Thanks for the reply living art, this is what I was wondering about whether it's something that’s done as general husbandry or something for tortoise's with actual problems, I haven’t done it for some time as they seem to graze and eat vegies without any problems, so I found myself leaning to the "if it isn’t broke don’t fix it" way of mind but thought it would be best to drop a post & see what other owners thought

I have a question about tortoise beaks. What maintenance do other people do for their tortoise's beaks? I’ve tried occasionally filing but find this quite a fight & are worried about it hurting them. I’ve kept cuttle fish in their areas but they seem to ignore it. What do other keepers do & is it something to worry about?

depends on age,i personally don't hibernate any tortoise under 3yrs of age,I've got a indoor table top tortoise enclosure for the winter months,its also of a lot of benefit to build a outdoor tortoise house,this helps them get away from the elements when they please,I've been told its ok to just put them outside & leave them to it, but I've learnt this can be a little miss leading for many reasons,best advice is to read & study all you can as opinions can very

hi can anyone tell me anything about the breeding cycle of dwarf puffers,my female seems to be holding eggs, but I'm very unsure bout the whole thing, there is not much info about breeding, like how long before they lay the eggs, i found out it takes 5 days to hatch & Ive got the female by her self with some fake plants for her to lay on,any info would be most helpful at this point
