aquariumbeginner32
Anyone had a fish with one? It seems I have a neon tetra with a prolapsed rectum. Last night I thought it was just a large poop but it's still there .... it's light pink and doesn't move.
supasi
Possibly it is an egg bound female?

Caryl
This happens sometimes. It may retract by itself or it may not. In a larger fish I would suggest trying to catch it and push back the offending bit but not sure if this is possible in a neon!
aquariumbeginner32
Maybe a female... I wouldn't know lol Will have to google how to sex tetras lol But honestly, it looks like all the photos I've seen on google images of prolapse in fish. Will let you know how it goes. aquariumbeginner32
No photo... only got a cheap camera and I don't have much luck taking photos of the fish esp. the smaller ones!
