October 26, 201114 yr comment_459556 Hi I have a heavily planted tank and have had an outbreak of small ramshorn snails. I dont want to nuke the tank with chemicals and was thinking of adding some loaches as a natural remedy. What loaches eat snails, dont grow to big and like a heavily planted tank? any thoughts are welcomed. Report

October 27, 201114 yr comment_459610 how big is the tank, you might be able to get bigger ones than dwarf chain loaches, though they are exceedingly cute Report

October 27, 201114 yr comment_459657 Angelius loaches may be better for a more peaceful tank (although skunks are awesome anyway), they dont eat the big mts usually but all the small ones and control the population quite well Report
October 27, 201114 yr comment_459690 Give Zodiac loaches a go. They are bigger than dwarf chain loaches but they still have that cuteness factor that Sophia mentioned Report
