si_sphinx
I need 4x 80w 14,000K T5, 4.75ft (1450mm) bulbs for my light hood. Does anyone know where I can buy some? They need to be able to post them.

si_sphinx
I have emailed both chch and auckland and both places said they do not stock the bulbs and don't seem interested to help me at all. This is quite frustrating, Surely someone is able to source the bulbs from somewhere.
Nymox
Try that guy in Morrinsville, thefishtank or something he's called. You can find him on trademe under that name. Just a word of warning though, I bought aquaone t5ho tubes and they all failed on me, I know my unit was sound as it would still run other tubes without a problem. I splashed out and bought Arcadia tubes and they have already paid for themselves. I would only get a max of a month from the aquaone tubes before they would fade out and eventually stop. Could have been an isolated shipment though I got them from 2 different pet stores, these were the 39W T5HO daylight.

Joe
Why do you need 14,000K T5HO? What's wrong with getting some Arcadia Plant Pros or something like that which will give you much better results? Also have you considered ordering from overseas? Sure, it would be quite expensive, but you will have much more variety to choose from. If you do end up buying from overseas, get some Giesemann Middays - apparenty they produce wicked colours in the plants

My main light source is MHs and the T5s are only to semi recreate sunrise and sunset before and after the MHs.
Ira
I'd have thought a much lower color temp to match the redder/yellower sunset light would be what you'd want then.
Artem
If its just sunrise/sunset normal T5s would work. Or an LED strip
