henward Posted August 6, 2011 Report Share Posted August 6, 2011 Needing a new sump. this sump will eventually support a system 3000 litres (2 tanks) the sump cannot be wider than 80cm and cannot be longer than 6 foot. and max heigh of 40 cm OR alternatively, max L 1m, Max W 80cm, max H 65 any ideas? any designs that people have used? malevolentsparkle Posted August 7, 2011 Report Share Posted August 7, 2011 i'm no expert on sumps but at that size i would seriously consider other materials than glass. there must be a cheaper and more durable material to use, maybe semi-transparent acrylic? i know clear stuff costs more than glass.
