ben19185074
It was one of those AQUAONE tanks with the standard lights and filter on top which is not good enough for marines so i replace it with others.....so the top itn'st cover properly
ben19185074
well~~it is time for u to go start a marine tank~
Ira
Mystic, more marine tanks run without lids than do have them. Helps keep the tank cooler when you have 500+ watts of lighting over them.
Ira
You've probably seen most of the pet store marine tanks. They're basically just a FW tank with saltwater in it. No real lighting, not properly set up for a good reef tank, etc. BTW, what're you doing up so late?
ben19185074
I run T5s so it is not as hot, but i just can't some lids that looks good and fits well on a tank that has many things hanging on it... (Anyone knows where to get one or make one please tell me)
petplanet
Guess nemo ain't going to make it home then! I had a clownfish jump out of my tank once and land in my hands while I was sitting on the couch. Wrasses would have to be the number one jumpers. RnB
next time you are in a LFS count the number of metal halides and take a real close look at where the corals are being kept.
