Caryl
They can alter colour according to mood, health, or age and genetics.
Hdoubleu
She has got quite pale. We had her in the sick tank and wondered if she was having a problem with the salt that was being added to treat it so we moved her to the tank with the fighter in it. She is still pale so I am hoping she is just growing. The sick tank is all healthy again now (I think).
Caryl
They will alter colouring based on surroundings. If she is in a bare tank she will be paler than if she was on dark substrate.

Hopefully it is just her getting older. We have had her about 6 months.
Caryl
Hopefully it is not due to poor health. Perhaps the salt upset her and she will take a while to recover.
