paige.xo
I have a 60-70L tank lying around that I am going to set up. I will probably use sand substrate and have it quite heavily planted. I want it to be different from my other tanks, so I was thinking about a pair of dwarf cichlids, if they would be okay in a tank this size. Do you guys have any suggestions for stocking? I am open to all ideas.
the-obstacle
dwarf cichlids would be great in that size tank but I would only recommend 1 pair. Depending on the filtration some corydoras and a couple of tetra would be great tank mates.
paige.xo
I was thinking about either a couple of Apistogramma Agassizii or Macmasteri? Which of these are 'better'?

jackp
it's a personal choice thing. just look around at what's available and see what appeals to you
the-obstacle
I was thinking about either a couple of Apistogramma Agassizii or Macmasteri? Which of these are 'better'? neither/both - they're both good, neither is better.
paige.xo
By 'better' I meant which is easier to keep, better for this tank, prettier etc.
jackp
they're all much the same in terms of keeping them, and different people have different opinions on which look better. my opinion on which is the best looking apisto seems to change almost daily (though apisto eunotus is always near the top, and also seems to be completely unavailable).
