henward
i recently installed a DIY moonlight. all i did was use my exo terra reflector and a 12w energy saving bulb that turns on after lights out. i covered most of the bulb so its a small light - looks amazing, a yellowish moon like tinge, you can see most fish sleeping but th eplecos come alive, as well as the TT eel and the ghost knives and nocturnal fish! now i can watch my fish day AND night :bounce:

The blue has a more moonlight coloration to it the leds are a better point source so you get the pretty shimmering effect.
