hovmoller
I would put some courgette on a fork and leave it in there overnight. You should be able to see next day if they have been at it..
the-obstacle
Is there wood and algae int he tank for them to snack on? How long have you had them? They take a while to settle in. I found the first thing they really attacked was a bit of courgette.
Joutei
i got them around the 1st of April. Courgette? For the L140 ? What about the l270?
Joshlikesfish
My L140 devour courgette. My L270 have been fed novotab their entire lives. Occasional shrimp pellets and novo fect. Does the tank have lots of hiding spaces etc? How big are they?
Ice222
The L140 I got was taking awhile to settle it, it still 'scuttles' off to hide whenever it sees movement outside the tank, but I have caught it sitting right next to the tablet a few times so I'm quite sure it's been eating when I haven't been looking. I'm feeding hikari at the moment.
BikBok
My L270 has never been shy about eating his food. He'll eat any sinking tablet but ignores veges. he eats novotabs, hikari algae wafers(which is really for the for the ottos) , shrimp pellets, sinking tropcial tablets and any other fish flakes and pellets that make it to the bottom.
