Jammos
I'm just looking at buying one and know they are terrortorial(sorry spelling) but I was hoping for people to tell me the ins and outs to them (apart from price) from their experiences of keeping them. Can the be kept with silver dollars?? as my other ones stuck to the side of them so they got put in another tank! all comments great thanks. Ira
I really wish I'd bought like 10 of them when they were available at $150 each. I think the going price, if you can get them, is something like $450 each?
Jammos
thats fine but I just wanted to know about their nature from anyone who has had them before. I have heard they are aggressive little fellows so if they are too aggressive I might not get any. But if they are just moody then I could be still interested. Ira
I haven't heard they're aggressive, all I've heard about them is you'll never see them once they're in the tank.
Jammos
should be alright if all the hiding places are at the front.
kylefish02
Hi Jammos Zebra plecs should always be kept with other zebra plecs as they are a schooling cat and require 3-5 so one would be very unhappy and for a rare fish like that would be a big watse so if ur only going to get oe dont bother as would be cruel and as for terrortorial that is only males when wanting to breed Cheers Kyle
Luke*
That's the problem, most fish need to be in schools but we get this idea of selling just "one" for $450 but is perhaps dooming the fish if sold alone. And reality is most people will not buy 3-5 fish at $450 each!
