Joe
As stated in the title. Is it possible to get anything that will go from 0-10? Also what brand is best? Thanks, Joe
Sophia
it is a pain that it has to be seperated, at the moment mine seems to fall between the start of High pH and the end of low so I'm never completely sure what it is

Caryl
JBL says 3 - 10.
BikBok
JBL says 3 - 10. that's good. what are the graduations like? I have a pondcare "wide range" but the graduations are too broad so I only use it if I need to check pH that's over 7.4. My tanks are usually around 6.8 -7.2 pondcare color card goes... 5.0 > 6.0 > 6.5 > 7.0 > 7.5 > 8.0 > 9.
Caryl
3, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5,
BikBok
3, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10 that's a bit better. I wonder if there are any with smaller graduations.
phoenix44
pH 0? It'll start at 3 - that won't support any life for the purposes of an aquarium; and neither will pH10. I have the pondcare stuff, and it's great, and i recommend it over the normal one. YOu are best to titrate it, or use a pH meter if you want accuracy. Joe
Wow $80 is good If I breed those Apisto. viejita/macmasteri whatever they are, and sell some fry, I know what I'm going to spend my earnings on
Caryl
Why do you want to be able to test such a wide range?
Joe
I just wanted to know what test kit had the widest range and was reasonably accurate. Anything wrong with that? I think the pH meter looks cool
Caryl
Nothing wrong with that at all Joe, I just wondered if you had some interesting new fish or pants in mind that required a pH out of the normal range The meters need to be regularly calibrated too I think and I don't know what that involves. ryanjury
Calibrating the meter is relatively easy, you will get 2-3 solutions to make up fluid with various PH levels you just stick the probe in each of these and adjust a screw to make them all read right (or roughly right).
