Caryl
Should I be concerned about my cold water leopardfish, even though they are behaving just as they normally do? Their tank temp is now 32C. I know I can do water changes, drop a Slikka pad in etc but should I bother doing so since the high temps do not seem to be bothering them? It is 35.9C outside (though official temp, taken at weather station across town, says 33.2C. We get hotter here at our end of town under the hills). We only have aircon in 2 rooms at this end of the house, not the lounge where the 3 tanks are. The big tropical tank does not get so hot as it is surrounded on all sides, except the front, by a solid timber unit. Plus it has more water in it so is slower to react to room temperature. kiwiplymouth
Its 35.3 out on my deck which is the sun but has a nice cooling sea breeze. I have both doors open in the fishroom to get some ventilation. Good beer drinking weather though
phoenix44
Jeepers. It's nice and cool here. No sun either.
Caryl
The highest our personal weather station registered was 36.7C on the south side of the house in the shade. Grant is in nothing but shorts - haven't seen him do that for many years!
