Mirio
Hey all, i've recently purchased two small Electric Blue Rams, just have a question and that is what do you feed yours? I have five different types of food at the moment TetraMin Tropical Crisps TetraColor Tropical Granules Aquarian Sinking Shrimp Pellets Hikari Algae Wafers And Spectrum Thera +A Regular Formula The other fish i keep: 1x Red Whiptail 6x Corydoras Sterbai I figured the Spectrum would be suitable, i just feel that i should purchase another type of food for them aswell. I've seen floating Cichlid Pellets, but yeah, i need some advice in this area, so yeah Thanks!
Joshlikesfish
I've never had electric blue, but when I had bolivian rams they loved the crisps. I would imagine your rams would also like the granules?

ryanjury
Just feed all the food you have variety is the spice of life, they will better with sinking foods though and you will quickly see what they have usually been fed with (ie flakes or pellets). But they will adjust to any food over time.
malevolentsparkle
they'll eat anything really, but its not likely that they will eat off the surface. slow sinking food would be good.
Mirio
Awesome, thanks for the replys guys Yeah, it's just that if they're not fast, six hungry Corydoras get there first! But yeah, i dropped in an Algae Wafer the other day, knowing that it breaks into small particles they ate the floating bits and took some nibbles at the pellet, flakes also seem to be favoured. But yeah, with time they should adjust! ;]
