burrowssj
MY wild kribs have been roughing my guppys up for the last couple of weeks it wasn't so bad up until today when I noticed my male guppy has a HUGE amount of his tail missing, he still has the length but 80% of his tail is gone including his top fin. this surprised me as yesterday he was normal with a few nips here an there, hes eating alil an wimming barely, have put him in different tank with salt bath Does anyone know if he can recover from this sorta injury? or is it best to put him in the freezer? ryanjury
They usually recover from that sort of injury, I have guppies in with my apistos and kribs sometimes they get the odd nip but it always grows back fine.
Sunbird73
My male krib bit half of my female kribs tail off, and it grew back in lightning fast time, less than 2wks.

the-obstacle
I had the same thing happen to one of my guppies, he practically had no tail left. I was gutted when I first noticed and felt really bad form him but then I realised last night that he's got a full tail again and I haven't cared about it for weeks now. He's never been happier. Jelz
I had leopard danio's that did that to my male guppies when I set up my big community tank. One of the guppy male's died (he had a HUGE tail and they ate it OFF) and 3 survived with big chunks taken outta their tail. Keep up the TLC
burrowssj
unfortunately he has passed away. bloody kribensis >.< also kiiled (overnight!) another guppy female sucks to have breeding pairs to only have cichlids kill them! dirty kribensis! they've gone into breeding mode and are super aggressive ATM on another note, I have just got a 120/45/45 tank which will be the replacement of my over stocked 2x 60/30/30 so more room = less aggression hopefully
