Carlos & Siran Posted November 8, 2010 Report Share Posted November 8, 2010 For various reasons we've had to temporarily shut our tanks down, but we're hoping to set them up again after Christmas. We're slowly and carefully making up our wish list and at the top is a royal panaque, but all the images on google are of the black and white stripy ones. Our local fish shop had a beautiful blue one , it's texture was like velvet. Does anyone have any idea of which model it may have been? DennisP Posted November 9, 2010 Report Share Posted November 9, 2010 The blue "royal" could have been a blue phantom plec. Most royals I've seen are stripy. (I haven't come across a lot) My royal grazes on my driftwood. At night it can be quite loud. I've yet to see any marks of where its eaten anything.
