buzzy Posted December 28, 2004 Report Share Posted December 28, 2004 hi i am thinking about getting a hex tank about 80-100 ltrs, what filteration would you use with out having a sump as i want it to be in the centre of a room? i want only live sand,rock and 2 clowns(fish), is it possible? petplanet Posted December 28, 2004 Report Share Posted December 28, 2004 Even though you don't like the idea, a sump would be best. If it is designed right you would hardly even see it. Drill a hole in the bottom of the tank in the centre for your overflow pipe and another hole for your water return pipe. You can then hide everything else in the sump out of sight.
