FishBen
Something in my tank is eating/uprooting my plants, but I never see which fish it is.. I'm guessing they do it at night In the tank I have; 3 Glass Cats 2 Albino Cory 2 Dwarf Gourami Anyone know who the guilty fish are?
land_lubber
At a guess I would say maybe the Gourami's. Are your plants sercured properly in the ground? if not the might just be getting knocked around and uprooting themselves.
Ira
Are they being eaten or uprooted? Cories are pretty good at disturbing plants that aren't securely rooted.
FishBen
They are being eaten and uprooted, like I'll find 1 uprooted plant and a ton of bits of leaves floating in my tank. A lot of the time it looks like something has chewed through the bottom of the plant and the top half has just broken off to float around the tank I bury the plants as much as I can, but with the under gravel filter it's a bit hard to bury them really deep. Skip™
My gouramis constanly make bubblenesst and rip off pieces of plant to stick in them? They tug at them quite hard too.
SamH
sorry for horrible quality Use the Macro function, if your camera has one. Likely the work of a gourami.
FishBen
Thanks for the tip! Is there anything I can do to discourage them? Or do I need to just move them somewhere else? http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/8326/img0426y.jpg - Better quality http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/2171/img0431mt.jpg - The accused!
