firefish
I raised cories in a 1 litre yoghurt pot pegged into the side of the tank - with an airstone and meth blue. Upgraded to a 2 litre ice cream box when they got a bit bigger.
land_lubber
I might try the ice cream container trick
land_lubber
Well I managed to get 10 out of the 16 eggs into a container so we will see how it goes. Today I will go buy some meth blue and a air stone.
smidey
when i get fry i initially put them into the nets that have suction cups, i use a small square one & recently got a large one. they ate very small tanks inside existing setups. I did discover that adult africans would come up to the bottom of the net & suck the fry to the bottom & bite/crush them through the netting so i cut up an ice cream container lid & inserted it to stop that. I don't know if your fish will do that but could be worth doing.
land_lubber
My cories laid again just now in the same spot so I put those eggs in with the others. There must be about 25 or so eggs nows after the ones I have damaged  and the first lot of about 11 should hatch in the next 2 days. I have just brought another tank off trademe that I will set up tomorrow then transfer all the fry once hatched into it.

land_lubber
A few of them from the first lot have hatched now and I have brought a new tank for raising them in when they get a little bigger. It depends how many survive as to if I will sell any or not. I want to have a big school of cories in my tank.
