Morcs
ANOTHER UPDATE! Since running co2, the crypts have lifted their leaves, and getting good growth from everything else - compare to the last update which was 1 week ago! Added 2 more T5s today, will see how it goes, so thats about 140w of T5 lighting hehe. and I LOVE THAT PLECO TOO!

land_lubber
I've got a spare one of those glo 24" units around that I chucked on top of my tank as well but it didn't make much of a difference so I took it back off. I think you would notice more of a difference with a 36" one. Nice gold nugget pleco
spoon
cant you get another juwel light unit to fit in there? it will look better too.

Morcs
mmmm L018. Did you order it as a Queen GN? Yup, came from steve. Extra lighting has resulted in green spot algae, so ive reduced the photoperiod on the glo unit to about 6 hous, around the middle of the day (when nature its most intense)
phoenix44
add more ferts and the green spot will vanish. I no longer get it any more.
