Zev
Kids got bored the other day, ones on the left are pastry, the right are gingerbread. The tails keep breaking off when you take them out of the cutters, so they are Bobtail Mice

Zev
Oooo... poor Deepsound! I will get the recipe off the kids when I get home - it is just an evil (as in easy to make and cook and requiring much skill) microwave cake, the filling is mock cream (butter beaten to death with some water and icing sugar), and I will have to ask what icing they used and what they grated over the top. Caryl
You think we should point him to wok's chocolate cake recipe too?
Zev
Yeah with an icing that is 50% cream and 50% dark chocolate - why not?
Deepsound
Wok's chocolate cake... Dark chocolate... Ok. You don't point me anything. Let's simplify : I'm gonna call Air New Zealand.
Caryl
I thought the French were supposed to be well known for their culinary skills. Does this not include chocolate cake?
Deepsound
Yes it does, Caryl. But I'm sure NZ chocolate cake is nothing more than special. Look ! Savouring a little dark chocolate under a long white cloud, is there someting better in the whole wide world ? So according to my stomach, it's a good reason for a trip on an airplane
Nymox
haha I like your thinking deepsound, although Im sure Caryl is glad I dont live next door to her, Id always be finding an excuse to head over and check out all those yummy smells coming from the kitchen. I would also weigh 3 times as much as I do now, and I'm already well insulated for the winter as it is.
