cees
interesting the fnzas plant survey calls it Heteranthera zosteraefolia (in google placed 1 out of 615 last time I looked) yet in google I see many references to Heteranthera zosterifolia (798) Which one is correct? I've seen that with several names of the plant survey, not quite the most popular latin spelling is used. Anyone out there with more knowledge than me who can help? Caryl
I suggest the FNZAS survey has a spelling error as all my books have it the other way.
Melanotaenia
I just threw out some excess Heteranthera zosterifolia the other day. I 'm pretty sure it's 'i' as my 'Aquarium Plants Manual' wriiten by an expert german (Ines Scheurmann) lists it that way. Interestingly she also gives it a common name of 'Mud Plaintain' which I suspect is just the translation from german. I also have excess vallisneria and cabomba which are 'long and thin' so send me a pm if anybody wants any..
