purplecatfish Posted April 2, 2010 Report Share Posted April 2, 2010 I'm wondering about putting some Balantiocheilos melanopterus into my 2.5 metre tank (after it's had it's makeover, which is this weekend). And I've got some questions for anyone who has experience with these fish. What were there tankmates? How many would you keep in a tank this size? Any other advice? dantedobe Posted April 2, 2010 Report Share Posted April 2, 2010 I have 4 in with my oscars. They are very peaceful fish. My silver dollars love hanging around them. The oscars don't bother them at all. I have also had them in with african cichlids and they were left alone and everyone got on fine. A-town... Posted April 3, 2010 Report Share Posted April 3, 2010 Ihad a few in a 4 foot with black ghost knife angels and gouramis.
