alanmin4304
Redwoods grow a lot of plants so if you know what you want they may have it out the back if not on display. Closed Fridays.

stillnzcookie
We have found Animates a bit variable - sometimes they have a good selection of plants and fish, sometimes they don't - still worth a look. We have bought most of our fish from Organism and would thoroughly recommend going there! Haven't made it to Redwood Aquatics yet, but I've also heard lots of good things about there. Caryl
I always go to Organism but there is such a choice in ChCh you ought to visit them all and make your own decision based on who has what you want in good quality at the price you can afford. Isn't it convincing? Why yes, it is. btw, +1 to Organism for great personalised service and a surprisingly good range. However, I like Redwoods too. Jennifer
I hate to say it, but i wish i could buy some of those hikari bottom feeder wafers. Can't you get them at Animates?
phoenix44
Have to special order them. I have a packet in the freezer still sealed, but it is a "line not carried any more".
Jennifer
Wow, can we not get them in NZ anymore? I must admit, I hadn't noticed, my mum buys them in the states for a couple of dollars a packet and sends them to me. 8)
phoenix44
couple of bucks? damn. they were not good sellers at all. I think I used to buy most of them here, and a few customers used to get as well, but that's about it.
